Proposals For War Finance SESSION MAY END THIS WEEK HOUSE EXPECTED TO HAVE LATE SITTINGS (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, September 25. The legislation, embodying the Government's proposals for financing New Zealand’s share in war is expected to be introduced in the House of Representatives tomorrow night. The acting Prime Minister (the Hon. P. Fraser) said after a prolonged of Cabinet tonight that he hoped to introduce the Bill relating to wartime finance then. In reply to a question whether the Bill would be given further consideration at the Government caucus tomorrow, Mr Fraser said that there might be one or two points that the caucus would wish to consider. He did not think, however, that this would delay the presentation of the Bill when the House resumed after the dinner adjournment.
Mr Fraser said he thought the prospects of the session concluding at the end of this week were bright. He said that the House was likely to sit to all hours in order to finish the business.
