ODDFELLOWS’ DANCE AT DIPTON
LODGE MEMBERS ARRANGE FUNCTION On a recent evening the members of the Dipton Oddfellows’ Lodge entertained a number of residents and visiting brethren to a social evening in the Dipton public hall. Music for the dance was supplied by Messrs M. James and McKillop. Extras were played by Misses K. Shand and J. Wood. Mr R. Price, 1.M.P.G.M., on behalf of the local lodge welcomed the guests and members of other lodges, and introduced Provincial G.M. Brother Sutton, who outlined the benefits and aims of the friendly society. He then introduced Brother Corresponding Secretary Williamson, who spoke of the advisability of belonging to a friendly society. Among those present were: Mr and Mrs A. Gwen, Mr and Mrs D.
