KAMO COLLIERIES IDLE
90 MEN CEASE WORK (United Press Association) WHANGAREI, May 26. As a result of their decision to stop work on Wednesday afternoon 90 men at the Kamo Collieries are idle. A conference of the men and the management is being held this afternoon. The main point in dispute concerns the hewing of coal during the “dog” watch instead of developmental work.
