BLENHEIM, May 25. The heaviest fall of rain since the

first week in December began yesterday, between 12 and 30 points being recorded in different parts of the province. In Blenheim, however, only 24 points fell up to 9 o’clock, making the total just over an inch and a-half for a period of rcughly six months, but intermittent rain is still falling.
