Educational Course Closed

Because of the prevalence of influenza the vacation course of the Education Department’s correspondence school which has been in progress at the New Plymouth Boy’s High School for a week has been closed. Some pupils left for their homes today and those who are indisposed will be sent home as soon as they are well enough to travel. The Boys’ High School, which was to have reopened for the second term on Tuesday, May 23, will not now open till the following Tuesday to give an opportunity for fumigation before the return of the scholars.—Press Association.
