AUSTRALIANS SEEKING WORK

PARTY ARRIVES AT AUCKLAND AUCKLAND, April 17. In search of work in New Zealand, 44 men arrived this morning by the Aorangi from Sydney. This is the largest party yet to come to Auckland in search of employment. The party included 12 carpenters, but many trades and callings were represented. The men were met on board by the placement officer, Mr J. R. Elsbury, who stated that there would be no difficulty in absorbing any tradesmen in the party
