City Parking Plan Popular
Nothing the Automobile Association (Southland) had done had caused as much favourable comment as had its plan of the city parking zones, said the president (M. 1 D. J. Wesney) at a meeting of the general committee of the association last evening. It was evident, he said, that the association’s parking plan had struck a sympathetic chord with the country motorists, who now knew where they could park their cars for a whole day, if they got there early enough. Dr Stanley Brown also stated that many favourable comments had been passed about the plan.
