“OLD TIMERS’ ” PARTY

The Waikiwi hall was filled on a recent evening when the “Old Timers’ ” concert party gave an enjoyable and successful entertainment in aid of the Catholic Church building fund. The programme was: Songs, Mr A. W. Baldwin, Miss B. Butler, Mr H. E. Anthony, Mrs R. Beatty; violin duet, Mr and Mrs C. W. Lambert; song and dances, Miss A. Cook; recitations, Mr R. P. Tutty; accordion and concertina duets, Messrs J. and J. Harvey; yodelling songs, Mr R. Teraki; harmonica selections, Mr G. Howes; playette, “Who’ll Shut the Door,” Mrs R. Beatty and Messrs Baldwin and Anthony.
