FIRST GOLF MATCH OF SEASON GREENS IN GOOD ORDER FOR PLAY The first golf match of the season was played at Wyndham when a failnumber of players took part in a stroke round for Mr M. Rice’s trophy. Conditions were ideal for golf and the fairways and green were in good order. Barnett was in excellent form and returned a gross score of 72, which equals the course record. The best cards handed in were:— Barnett 72- 5-67 F. Milne 87-18-69 Whelan 94-24-70 Crawford 78- 7-71 Pankhurst 80- 8-72 Irvine 88-16-72 Rout 83-10-73 Henderson 84-10-74
