NEW MYSTERY RADIO

CONTROL AMAZES SCIENTISTS

Scientists and radio engineers throughout the world, to say nothing of the “man in the street,” have been left guessing over a little box, weighing just about two pounds and measuring no more than eight inches square. It is the new Philco Mystery Control, which is being described all over the world as the most revolutionary discovery since radio itself first came into being. This little box does the seemingly impossible by enabling the operator to exercise full control over a radio receiving set that is not connected with it in any way whatsoever by wires, connections, or electrical outlet. Walls form no barrier to the mysterious powers of the Mystery Control box for it can be taken anywhere in the building—upstairs, downstairs, into any room, or even outside—and, by the simple twist of a dial similar to that on a telephone, it changes stations, controls volume, and even turns the radio off. It is almost uncanny to see it in operation, yet i‘ is so simple that a child can work it. It should be explained that each Mystery Control will operate only on the particular receiver that it is set by the manufacturers to control. Demonstrations of its powers are being given at Charles Begg’s.
