BASKETBALL CLUB’S BALL

OPENING DANCE HELD AT WYNDHAM The Wyndham Ladies’ Basketball Club held an opening ball in the Town Hall recently. Mr J. Halliday played supper extras and Messrs E. Macfarlane, J. Heath, W. Frame and D. McCaughan were masters of ceremonies. Mr C. Ward (Gore) and Miss Casey (Edendale) won a Monte Carlo waltz. Miss L. Maguire gave a tap dance. Among those present were Mi’ and Mrs E. CRICKET DANCE AT BALFOUR CELEBRATION ON EASTER SATURDAY A successful dance was held by the cricket club on Easter Saturday night Mr R. Tomlin, Lumsden, played the music and Mr A.
