Watson — 12 Burley, Holloway, Shand, ; Keast 14 — Port, Meadows, Irwin, Metcalfe — 11 Reid, Arthur, Stocker, Randle 25 — King, Patterson, Thomson, Nicoll — 11 TOTALS 71 46 PROGRESSIVE DOUBLES AT WYNDHAM The members of the Wyndham and Edendale Bowling Clubs combined to hold a progressive doubles tournament on the Wyndham green. The weather was perfect. Fourteen pairs competed and four games of eight heads were played. G. Bogue, W. W. Chaplin and N. W. Stark led among the skips with four wins each, the winning honour gding to Bogue, with 51 points. Chaplin was second with 41 points. A. Botting had a clean-cut victory in the leads, with four wins, and J. Bums and Father Martin were equal for second place with three wins each. Father Martin winning with 35 points to Burns’s 30. Mr T. K. Clarke, president of the Wyndham Club, presented the winners with small trophies. Mr Gordon Smith replied on behalf of the Edendale Club.
