MR W. A. IZARD

(United Press Association) WANGANUI, February 5. The death occurred oh Saturday at Wanganui of William Arthur Izard, barrister and solicitor, aged 60. Bom in Christchurch and educated at. Christ’s College and Wellington College he began practice in Wanganui more than 30 years ago. MR DESMOND CARTER (Received February 5, 7.10 p.m.) LONDON, February 4. The death has occurred of Mr Desmond Carter, the author and lyric writer. He wrote about 200 songs.
