MORE WORK AND LOWER WAGES IN POLAND
SERIOUS LABOUR TROUBLE FEARED LONDON, January 12. The Warsaw correspondent of The Daily Telegraph says that drastic orders have been issued to speed up industry and cheapen labour. They threaten the most serious labour trouble. The orders prescribe a 14 per cent, wage reduction and a 25 per cent, increase in the minimum output of the workers.
