CHEAPER RATES FOR HOLIDAY PERIOD
RADIO-TELEPHONE SERVICE FROM BRITAIN
(Received December 15, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 14. The Postmaster-General (Mr G. C. Tryon) announces that radio-telephone rates to various countries, including New Zealand, will be halved from December 23 to January 4 inclusive, with the exception of Christmas Day, when the normal rates will be charged.
