CHARGES OF THEFT

LABOURER SENTENCED TO IMPRISONMENT (United Press Association) NAPIER, November 28. In the Supreme Court this morning Mr Justice Blair sentenced Jack Henry Payne, aged 31, a labourer, to six months’ imprisonment on each of three charges of theft, the sentences to be cumulative, and declared him a habitual criminal.
