NEXT PRESIDENT OF CZECHOSLOVAKIA
LAWYER NOMINATED FOR VACANCY (Received November 23, 7.10 pirn.) LONDON, November 23. M. Hacha, a . Czech lawyer, has accepted nomination for the Presidency. The National Assembly will elect a President on November 28. The Prague correspondent of The Times says that M. Hacha, who is 66 years old, is a non-party member and President of the Supreme Court. He is the Czechoslovak delegate to the Court of International Justice at The Hague. Fascist pamphlets against M. Chvalkovsky, the Foreign Minister, alleging that he is of Jewish origin are believed to have killed his chances.
