JOHN D. ROCKEFELLER’S ESTATE
(Received November 23, 7.10 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 23. The tax appraisal of Mr John D. Rockefeller’s estate is 26,905,000 dollars (about £5,381,000), nearly all in stocks and bonds. Gifts made during his life to ’various institutions totalled 524,890,000 dollars (about £105,000,000), which with gifts to his family make an unofficial estimate of his total fortune 1,000,000,000 dollars (about £200,000,000). _________
