TODAY’S RECIPE

YORKSHIRE PUDDING 2 cups (8 ounces) flour. 2 cups (16 ounces) milk. 2 eggs. 1 teaspoon salt. 2 tablespoons fat, melted in pan. Sift dry ingredients into a bowl. Beat eggs, add milk and pour liquid into hole in the centre of the dry ingredients. Stir in ever-widening circles. Heat pan with fat in oven till very hot (but do not allow it to decompose or burn). Pour batter into pan and place in oven at 450 degrees F. for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 375 degrees F. Cook till dried out, 40 to 60 minutes. SARAH.
