Surfer Prominent

P. R. Malthus, former Queensland and Oreti (Southland) surf life-saver, who went to Wellington last year, looks to be set for a place in the Maranui Club’s A team this season. Malthus won the Wellington 880 yards free-style title last summer, but did not do a great deal of surf work in Wellington, though he represented Oreti at the New Zealand championships.
