GUARANTEE OF £15,000 FOR YEAR’S PLAY (Received November 11. 11.10 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 10. Mr Walter Pate, chairman of the American Davis Cup Committee, announced that J. D. Budge, the world’s foremost singles player, had turned professional.
