CENTRAL-WESTERN COMPETITION WINTON BEATS NIGHTCAPS In a Central-Western cricket competition match played at Winton, the home team beat Nightcaps by 19 runs on the first innings. The top-scorer for the match was F. McKenzie, who made 102 runs for Winton in the short time of one hour and a-quarter. Grant, for Nightcaps, also batted well and made 84 runs. Wood was the outstanding bowlez and took six wickets for 74 runs. Details:—
