The sum of £7953 17/2 has been paid by the Ashburton Trotting Club to the Government in taxation on three meetings in the past year as follows:— £ Totalizator 3663 Dividends 4005 Stakes * 9® Amusement " 175 Income 20 The Government received £3378 from the King’s Birthday meeting.
