TRIANGULAR CONTEST PROBABLE (United Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 20. There is every prospect of a triangular contest at the coming by-elec-tion to fill the vacancy created on the Auckland City Council by the death of Sir George Richardson, as the Labour Representation Committee has decided to nominate Mr C. Bailey, who was a member of the previous council. Already the city returning officer has received the nomination of Mr H. J. Butcher, and Mr J. W. Payne said today that he would be a candidate.
