Rattray and Son, Ltd., Invercargill, have received the following cabled report of the tea auction held in Colombo on Tuesday: Large supplies were offered with average quality, strong demand for all grades with common and medium teas showing advances of id to >}d per lb; fine and good kinds firm with prices unchanged; quantity 3,000,0001 b; next sale 2,750,0001 b.
