WHISKY FRAUDS IN CALCUTTA
EUROPEANS AND NATIVES SENTENCED (Received February 17, 6.30 p.m.) CALCUTTA, February 16. Four Europeans and 28 natives were sentenced to terms of imprisonment varying from three to four years for whisky frauds whichjnvolved a loss of revenue amounting to £690,000.
