TROPHIES OF THE CHASE
BRITISH SPORTING EXHIBITION MANY WORLD RECORDS INCLUDED (British Official Wireless)’ (Received January 14, 6.30 p.m.)
RUGBY, January 13. The British Sporting Exhibition? which will be opened at the Imperial Institute by the Earl of Athlone _ tomorrow, includes all the British trophies exhibited at the. recent international sporting exhibition at Berlin. The exhibition, which is restricted because of lack of space, includes specimens lent by their Majesties and other members of the Royal Family. It is a most interesting exhibition, including 350 big game trophies which, as a collection, are regarded as the most comprehensive display of its kind ever shown in Britain. At least 40 world records are included in the collection. In addition to supplying two magnificent deer from his own gun, General Goering sent the following message to the British Sporting Exhibition: “I do hope this genuine, collaboration in a sphere of mutual interest will foster a friendly understanding between the two peoples. Good hunting.”
