DISTURBED HONEYMOON FOR STAN LAUREL

FORMER WIFE POUNDS ON DOOR (Received January 12, 7.5 p.m.) HOLLYWOOD, January 11. Stan Laurel, the film comedian, asked the Court for an injunction to restrain his first wife from making a farce of her successor’s honeymoon. He said his former wife telephoned at all hours, pounded on his apartment door in the middle of the night and threatened unfavourable publicity. Laurel’s former wife told the Press: “He’s a good boy, but he has a marrying complex. I am merely protecting him.”
