SWIMMERS RESCUED AT SYDNEY BEACHES

ROAD ACCIDENTS AND DROWNINGS CAUSE 1G DEATHS SYDNEY, December 27. Nearly 100 persons in difficulties at various Sydney beaches today were all rescued. The champion swimmer, Robin Biddulph, saved two men who were washed off rubber floats and carried out to sea at Manly. Road accidents and drownings caused the deaths of 16 persons during the holiday week-end in New South Wales.
