HISTORIC DOCUMENTS LOST IN FIRE
BRISBANE PUBLIC LIBRARY (Received December 6, 8.15 p.m.) BRISBANE, December 6. A fire in the Brisbane public library destroyed irreplacable historic documents and books valued at thousands of pounds. Firemen saved the Oxley Memorial Library, in the same building.
