TINS OF PETROL PLACED TO FEED FLAMES

MELBOURNE, December 6.

Detectives investigating the cause of the fire which did damage estimated at £15,000 at the Spatt woollen mills, Dawson, found definite evidence of incendiarism. Tins of petrol had been placed in convenient positions to feed the fire and bags of spindles had been soaked in petrol.
