DIGGERS CUP MATCH In a bowling match between Hokonui and R.S.A., played on the R.S.A. green last evening, for the Boyle. Diggers’ Cup, the home team won by 22 points to 12. The entries for the New Zealand Bowling Association’s championship tournament to begin in Dunedin on January 10 total 591. The figures for the various events compare as follows with those for 1934, when the Dominion tournament was last played here:—Singles 247 (118); pair 221 (180); rinks 123 (98). The draw will be made either on Tuesday or Wednesday.
