GOUT RETURNS WITH PROSPERITY
HOTELS AT BATH CROWDED (Received November 1, 8.55 p.m.) LONDON, November 1. Gout has reappeared in Britain, close on the heels of returned prosperity, according to doctors and officials at Bath. After the world slump the number of patients at Bath dwindled almost to zero; now they crowd the hotels. One doctor said: “I have several cases at present who were relieved of their ailment as a direct result of the depression, but a surfeit of the good things of life reaps a new harvest of pain.” ___________
