ALLEGED THEFT OF £lOO (United Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, October 20. Godfrey Haise, aged 46 years, described as a company manager, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court, being charged that on or about July 14, 1936, he stole £lOO, the property of Arthur Shelton. Detective-Sergeant Meiklepohn stated that many thousands were involved and he asked for a remand till Friday, when charges totalling £2500 will be preferred. Mr M. H.
