SUCCESSFUL SPORTS SEASON
BULLER’S VICTORIES OVER WEST COAST (United Press Association) WESTPORT, October 17. Buller completed a highly successful sports season in competition against West Coast with the victory of the Westport women at golf over Greymouth in the women’s challenge shield match yesterday. Buller also beat West Coast in the Seddon Shield Rugby match, the Peter Dawson Cup association football game and for the Mawhera Cup at hockey. The Dalgleish Challenge Shield for golf and the Forst Cup for cricket are also held by Buller. The Buller basketball team has not been beaten for two years.
