CONFERENCE OF POWER BOARDS (United Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 15. The Electric Power Boards and Supply Authorities Association of New Zealand at its annual conference, which concluded today, elected the following officers: President, Mr J. A. Nash (Manawatu-Oroua); executive, Messrs G. A. Monk (Horowhenua), F. Purnell (Wanganui-Rangitikei), S. J. Harbutt (Auckland), A. Campbell Pearce (Wairarapa), W. G. Rudd (Marlborough), L. B. Evans (North Canterbury), A. C. Russell (Central Hawke’s Bay), E. F. Nicoll (Ashburton), J. T. Johnson (Te Awamutu), A. E. Russell (Otago), S. Blackley (Hutt Valley), M. Cable (North Island supply authorities), E. Hitchcock (South Island supply authorities), H. F. Toogood (engineers’ association) and G. E. Fowler (secretaries’ committee); secretary and treasurer, Mr E. W. Swain; legal adviser, Mr F. M. Martin.
