YELLOW SEATS FOR GERMAN JEWS
NAZI DECREE RECALLS EDICT OF MIDDLE AGES BERLIN, September 15. Recalling the medieval edict compelling Jews to wear distinguishing yellow garb, two benches painted yellow have been erected in the Kurfuerstendamn, Berlin’s most fashionable street, and others elsewhere in the city have been marked “Jews only.” Aryans are not allowed to use them.
