1 CONFERENCE OF MEN’S SOCIETY (United Press Association) TAURANGA, September 16. The conference of the Church of England Men’s Society was continued yesterday. There were three sessions, at 9 a.m., 2.30 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. .The excellent attendance was maintained. The proceedings were carried through with keen enthusiasm. The main item of the day was an address by the Rt. Rev. J. A. Kempthome, D.D., a retired Bishop of Lichfield, England. His subject was The Recall to Religion.” This theme was issued early this year by the Archbishop of Canterbury. The conference ends today.
