Miss Gladys Petrie (brilliant lyric soprano), who, after many successes abroad, has recently returned to New Zealand, will present a bright and attractive programme at the Theatre Royal, Winton, next Monday evening, September 20, at 8 p.m. Assisting artists will be Mr Charles Martin, talented solo pianist and accompanist, who has also had valuable experience abroad, Mr A. C. Paine, clever humourist, farmery of Dunedin, Messrs F. H. Johnson and A. W. Kummert, baritones, Mr Hartley Joel, accomplished flautist of Dunedin, and the Harmony Four male quartet, (Messrs F. H. Johnson, A. W. Kummert, N. D. Mcßobie and M. F. Stevens). A souvenir programme will be available at the theatre. Prices are 2/6, 2/- (plus tax) and 1/6. No extra charge far reserves. Booking is now open at Mr Brumby’s.
