LODGE REPORT

ANCIENT ORDER OF FORESTERS Court Star of. the South was presided over at its last meeting by C.R. Bro. J. Holland. A motion of condolence was passed with Bro. Pascoe in his recent bereavement. It was decided to pay an official visit to Court Woodlands Pride. A letter was received from the Minister in charge thanking the order for its donation to the King George V Memorial fund. The court was advised by the judges that they would be present to judge for the efficiency competition on next court night. Court Pride of Gore, holder of the Patton Memorial Shield, wrote asking, if September 29 would be a suitable date for all courts to hold the competition for the initiation ceremony. It was decided to attend Court Southern’s next meeting after, which a card competition would be played. P.C.R. Bro. Bridges responded to the toast of ‘"The Visitors” on behalf of Court Southern.
