NEWLY-QUALIFIED ACCOUNTANTS

CERTIFICATES PRESENTED Four newly-qualified accountants were presented with certificates of membership at a luncheon held by the Southland branch of the New Zealand Society of Accountants in the Rosewood yesterday. They were Messrs A. G. Greentree, A. G. Harrington, A. A. McClean and R. J. Wise.

The function was the first of its kind to be held in New Zealand. Previously there had been no formal handing over of certificates, which were posted to new members Mr G. W. Scott, president of the Southland branch, presented |he certificates. He congratulated the four new members on passing the examination and welcomed them into the society. Mr J. B. Reid, representative on the New Zealand Council, and Mr F. A. Webb, immediate past president, also spoke. _____________
