MAN KNOCKED OFF HORSE (United Press Association) WAIHI, June 15. Last evening an elderly married man, James F. Colledge, when riding his horse near the Grand Junction Mine, was struck by a motor-car, received a deep gash on his right thigh, laying bare the bone and was knocked off his horse. It is alleged that the car driver failed to stop. DEATH FROM INJURIES (United Press Association) ASHBURTON, June 15. William Robert Hamilton, a married man, aged 56 years, a fitter, died in the Ashburton Hospital as the result of injuries when a tree fell on him at Rakaia on June 1. He was showing good signs of recovery from a head wound on Sunday but collapsed yesterday.
