OUTBREAK OF FIRE

The City Fire Brigade was called at 5.15 last evening to the premises of Hallenstein Bros., at the corner of Dee and Esk streets, where an outbreak of fire had occurred in the cellar. A heap of rubbish had caught fire from some hot ashes, but, as the cellar was built entirely of concrete, no damage _ was done, and the outbreak was quickly extinguished.
