COMMUNITY SINGING

PLANS FOR ORGANIZATION IN INVERCARGILL

Members of the Plunket Society are forming a committee to organize community singing in Invercargill. Tomorrow night a meeting will be held, and the society hopes to carry the idea into practice next month. It is thought that, while the society s local funds would be benefited considerably, periodical community singing evenings throughout the winter months would also give pleasure to many people and entertain those in hospitals and infirmaries.
