Pukerau CROPS MAKE LITTLE PROGRESS
The rainfall recorded locally for the month of February amounted to 8.30 inches, making 12J inches so far for 1937. Root crops have made little progress during the past few weeks, and weeds are very prominent in many areas. The oat crops received a severe buffeting during the recent rain storms and some are badly tangled; Given suitable weather, reaping will become general during the next week.
