NEW BRIDGE ACROSS THE THAMES

(British Official Wireless) RUGBY, March 1. The London County Council will have before it tomorrow the report of the Highways Committee dealing with the building of a new bridge to replace Waterloo Bridge across the Thames, the demolition of which is now almost completed. The committee states that the design will consist of five spans, each of about 238 ft, compared with 120 ft in the old bridge.
