FORCED DOWN IN DESERT

COLONEL LINDBERGH IN SAND-STORM (Received February 18, 5.5 p.m.) CAIRO, February 17.,. Colonel Charles A. Lindbergh and Mrs Lindbergh, who left Cairo this morning for Baghdad, were forced down by a sandstorm, landing at Rutbah Wells. The storm was raging in the desert when they left Cairo and they were warned of the danger of the trip. For a time they were reported missing.
