The third donation was a cheque for £3BOl from the solicitors of the estate of the late J. M. Mennie, being the balance, plus interest, of a £4OOO request for the School of Commerce.
The donation to the college library of a valuable collection of 78 books and 72 reprints from the library of the late Rev. J. H. Simmonds was received from Mrs Simmonds. The chairman said there were some very rare books in the collection.
