STRATHAIRD DISPUTE SETTLED
ENGINEERS MOLLIFIED. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) •London, October 15. The P. and O. Company state that the engineers’ dispute on the liner Strathaird has been amicably settled and the ship will sail to-morrow. The company denies that the engineers threatened to strike. Some had merely stated that they were not willing to sign on unless the terms of their engagement were considered.
