MARRIAGE AND DIVORCE IN HOLLYWOOD
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 11.50 p.m.) Hollywood, Sept. 19. The marriage is announced of Dick Powell, the actor, to Joan Blondell, the actress.
The latter’s divorce from George Barnes became final last week. Baines meanwhile took a fifth wife, Betty Woods, an actress.
